Repository Policy

Intermountain Journal of Translational Medicine encourages authors to share their work via personal and institutional repositories as well as preprint servers both before and after publication. Prior to sharing your work, please review our editorial policies regarding prior publication. 

Authors are free to self-archive a submitted preprint version of the article at any time and may additionally archive the accepted peer-reviewed version after publication.  Articles may be shared in any repository, including institutional repositories and on preprint servers. Additionally, authors are free to share their work on personal and institutional websites, or anywhere else online. 

Authors should pay close attention to licensing when sharing their manuscripts online. Intermountain Journal of Translational Medicine recommends considering Creative Commons Attribution (CC-BY) or an appropriate alternative such as Creative Commons Attribution-Non-Commercial (CC-BY-NC). 

We also request that authors provide a link to the final publication version of the article, with a proper citation, indicating that it is published in Intermountain Journal of Translational Medicine. 

Example:

"This is an [author copy/accepted version/publication version] of an article published in Intermountain Journal of Translational Medicine on [date of publication], available at [article link]. When referencing this article please cite: [official citation]."
